Knee compression sleeves will also give the knees some compression during the exercises to help the healing process.

The first exercise to help strengthen the knee is a short arc quad (SAQ), this is a great way to get started without doing to much to the knee. It helps strengthen the quad muscles with extend or straighten the knee.

The next knee strengthening exercises are a bridging series including a regular bridge, bridging with a band, and bridging squeezing into a ball. These all are great for the hamstrings, glutes, and surrounding muscles of the knee and hips.

Then you will do a long arc quad (LAQ), this is like the SAQ, but it is a longer arch with works the quad muscles in a bigger range of motion.

The final two exercises for the knee are a squat and a squat with a band. Squats do a great job of strengthen all of the lower leg muscles including hamstrings, quads, glutes, hip flexors, and others.

    Both knees hurt when I squat, or walk up the stairs. When I run, it feels like their giving up on me. The knee sleeves help but they irritate my skin when I have them on for too long

    Ill appreciate if you help me .I had an injury 3-4 months ago during football which made my knee swell for 1-2 months . I was told my knee had calcium burst or something which made my knee swell . And now it has been quite some time my knee looks alright but doesn't feel the same . Please respond.

    After my normal delivery a year back my knees are not like earlier.
    I mean i feel weakness there after standing for long, i have to use stairs more often during the day , can sit on knee or crossed legs for long.
    Will these exercise be useful or any other if u can help plz.

    Hi , My father (53 years old ) have pain in left knee during walk and some swelling ….but after doing these exercises my father is feeling some relief so I wanna ask that should he go along with the fast walk ( around 3 kms ) . Is it good if he continues with fast walk ??

    Is this strength or speed/power training? I didn't see any heavy weight in this session. Strength is generally at around the 4-6 rep range which means heavy and not just an empty bar.
